The Genesis
2009-2015
Born and raised in South Florida, I've always had an interest in music since I was a child. Every time I heard artists on the radio, as streaming did not exist at the time, I wanted to understand how they were able to take their ideas, record them, and put it out for our listening pleasure. On a mission I was! After learning recording from my older cousin, 14 years old was my age when I scrounged up the gift money from my family and asked my parents to take me to an equipment store & bought my first microphone. Since working some mixes in Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (now Adobe Audition) in high school, I spent countless hours teaching myself about mixing, production, and recording, making music and recording local artists later using Pro Tools.
Paying Dues (The Process)
2015-2021
In January of 2015, I moved to Tallahassee, FL. I worked as a recording & mixing engineer and in-house producer for Goldie Sound Productions from December 2017 until July 2021. During this time, I had the opportunity to build from the ground up professionally and work with some of the city's most promising talent with a few major artists passing through. I put in the work to learn the business and trained my ears, picking up the subtleties and techniques that make for a great mix.
